The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has successfully commissioned its Jhal Magsi gas development project in Balochistan. The company announced that the project, located in the Jhal Magsi South area, has now begun supplying 15 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of gas to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

This achievement marks a significant milestone in enhancing domestic energy production and reducing reliance on imported fuels. OGDCL’s efforts in exploring and developing indigenous resources reflect its commitment to supporting Pakistan’s energy security. The project is expected to contribute significantly to meeting the gas needs of southern Pakistan.
