Please read: this calculator follows the Sunni Hanafi rules as applied in Pakistan, with section 4 of the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961 for children of predeceased children. Shia (Ithna Ashari) inheritance follows different rules and is not supported. It covers a spouse, children, grandchildren through a predeceased child, parents and full brothers and sisters. It does not cover grandparents, half-siblings, uncles or other relatives, and it does not replace advice from a lawyer or a succession certificate from the court.
