NADRA office hours are not the same everywhere. Timings change by city, by centre type (registration centre, executive centre or mega centre) and by season, and NADRA’s own website does not publish a nationwide timetable. This guide collects the schedules that have been published, with dates, plus NADRA’s official fee table and helpline, so you can plan your visit and confirm before you travel. Is NADRA Open on Saturday and Sunday?
Saturday: it depends on the centre. In the Lahore region, NADRA announced in February 2025 that 27 registration centres across 9 districts would stay open on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for ID card renewal and issuance. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the winter schedule that took effect on 19 November 2025 puts registration centres on a single 9:00 am to 5:00 pm shift for five days a week, so many KP centres are closed on Saturday.
Sunday: most registration centres are closed. Some mega centres are reported to operate 24/7. Zameen’s guide lists two Blue Area mega centres in Islamabad as open 24/7, and a 2020 Sindh notice put mega centres on a seven-day, two-shift schedule (8:00 am to 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm).

The Sindh figures come from a 2020 notice, and the Islamabad ones from a 2023 guide. They are included as a guide and may have changed. The Lahore and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa schedules are more recent.
Types of NADRA Centres
Registration centres handle routine CNIC and Smart NIC work. Executive centres offer faster processing and are usually used for urgent or executive-priority applications. Mega centres are the larger service centres in major cities, and several are reported to run longer hours or around the clock.
Where to Find Your Nearest NADRA Office
Islamabad, per Zameen’s 2023 guide: NADRA Headquarters in G-5/2, the regional head office in G-10/4, the Blue Area mega centres on Jinnah Avenue and at Khyber Plaza, the e-Sahulat centre in Bhara Kahu, and a centre at Taramri.
Karachi, per Graana’s list (last updated April 2024): the provincial headquarters in MACHS, mega centres in DHA Phase 1, North Nazimabad, Siemens Chowrangi (SITE), Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Liaquatabad and Malir, and executive offices at Clifton, Saddar, Shahrah-e-Quaideen and the KCCI building.
Lahore, per Zameen’s 2020 list: the regional head office in Johar Town, DHA Phase 1 and Phase 4 executive offices, Allama Iqbal Town, Township, Model Town and Kot Lakhpat (Peco Road). Several of these addresses are older, so confirm before you travel.

- Call 1777 to confirm your centre’s hours before you travel, especially on Saturdays.
- Avoid Mondays and the days after holidays, which are commonly the busiest.
- Bring all documents and photocopies to avoid a second visit.

For Zone A (USA and Europe) it is USD 39 normal, USD 57 urgent and USD 75 executive. For Zone B (Middle East and Africa) it is USD 20, USD 30 and USD 40.
