Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has introduced a new initiative to replace all damaged and faulty electricity meters at no cost to consumers. The program is designed to ensure accurate billing, enhance power distribution efficiency, and address frequent complaints regarding malfunctioning meters.

Under the new policy, customers experiencing issues such as incorrect readings, broken displays, or non-functional meters are urged to immediately report the problem to their nearest LESCO office. Upon verification, the company will replace the faulty meters without charging any fees.
Officials stated that the move aims to reduce billing discrepancies and strengthen customer trust in the electricity supply system. LESCO has also directed field teams to expedite the replacement process and ensure minimal disruption to consumers during the meter change.
