1. Introduction
Welcome to Calculator V (“the App”), developed by Kiani (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
By installing and using Calculator V, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Calculator V is designed as a private, encrypted file vault. Your personal files, photos, videos, documents, and notes stored inside the vault are never accessed, transmitted, or shared by us under any circumstances.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
Calculator V does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
The following is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us:
- Your vault PIN (stored as a one-way SHA-256 hash — never in plain text)
- Your backup recovery code (stored as a one-way SHA-256 hash)
- Files, photos, videos, and documents you import into the vault
- Notes you create inside the App
- Your app preferences such as theme and grid size
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
We use Google Firebase Analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics to improve the App. These services may automatically collect:
- Device information — device model, operating system version, screen size
- App usage data — which screens are visited, how long the App is used, app open frequency
- Crash reports — details about crashes including the line of code that caused the crash, device state at time of crash, and Android version
- General location — country level only, derived from IP address — no precise location is ever collected
- Advertising ID — a resettable device identifier used by Google Analytics
This data is collected anonymously and is used solely to improve App performance and fix bugs. It does not include any files, photos, notes, or personal content stored in your vault.
You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection at any time through your device’s Google settings under Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
3. Device Permissions We Use
Calculator V requests the following device permissions:

| Biometric / Device Credentials | Used only for PIN reset verification — never used to open the vault |
| Vibration | Used for haptic feedback on PIN entry |
We request permissions only when needed and only use them for the purposes described above. We never access your camera, storage, or any other feature in the background.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the automatically collected analytics and crash data for the following purposes only:
- To identify and fix bugs and crashes
- To understand which features are most used
- To improve App performance and stability
- To understand which devices and Android versions to support
We do not use your information for:
- Advertising or marketing
- Selling to third parties
- Building user profiles
- Any purpose other than improving the App
5. How We Store and Protect Your Data
5.1 Your Vault Data
All files, photos, videos, documents, and notes stored in Calculator V are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption — the same standard used by governments and militaries worldwide. Encryption keys are stored in the Android Keystore, a hardware-backed secure storage system.
Your vault data:
- Is stored only on your device
- Is never uploaded to any server
- Is never accessible to us or any third party
- Cannot be accessed without your correct PIN
5.2 Analytics Data
Analytics data collected by Firebase is stored on Google’s servers in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). This data is anonymized and does not contain any personally identifiable information.
6. Third Party Services
Calculator V uses the following third party services:

These are the only third party services used. We do not use any advertising networks, social media SDKs, or data brokers.
7. Children’s Privacy
Calculator V is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at admin@pakcitizenguide.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
For users in the European Union, this age threshold is 16 in accordance with GDPR requirements.
8. Your Rights Under GDPR (European Users)
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right to Access — You can request information about what data we hold about you
- Right to Erasure — You can request deletion of your data
- Right to Rectification — You can request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Restriction — You can request we limit how we use your data
- Right to Data Portability — You can request a copy of your data

Since Calculator V stores all vault data locally on your device, you can delete all your data at any time simply by uninstalling the App.
9. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Users)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- The right to know what personal information is collected
- The right to delete personal information
- The right to opt out of the sale of personal information
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
We do not sell your personal information to any third party.
10. Data Retention
- Vault data — stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App
- Analytics data — retained by Google Firebase for up to 14 months as per Google’s standard retention policy
- Crash reports — retained by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days
11. Security
We take the security of your data seriously. Calculator V implements:
- AES-256-GCM encryption for all vault contents
- SHA-256 hashing for PIN storage
- Android Keystore for encryption key management
- Automatic vault lock when the app is minimized
- Intruder detection with front camera capture after repeated failed PIN attempts
- Biometric and screen lock verification for PIN reset
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy
- Showing a notice inside the App on next launch after a significant change
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
