Step 1: Getting Your Learner’s Driving Permit Online

Before you can take a driving test, you must hold a valid Learner’s Permit for at least 42 days. The good news? You no longer need to visit a police station to get one. You can apply from your smartphone or laptop.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old for a Motor Car or Motorcycle permit.

How to Apply via DLIMS 2.0:

1. Create an Account: Visit the official DLIMS Punjab portal (dlims.punjab.gov.pk) and sign up.
2. Fill the Form: Enter your details exactly as they appear on your CNIC.
3. Upload Documents: You will need to upload a fresh picture with a white background and scanned copies of the front and back of your CNIC. (Note: If you are over 50 years old, you must also upload a Medical Fitness Certificate on Form B).
4. Pay the Fee: The system will generate a PSID (Public Service Identifier). You can pay the Rs. 500 fee via ATM, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or any mobile banking app.
